How does I keep track of my trades?
A Transaction is defined as a stock, option, or dividend that is tracked.
A Position is a group of transaction that is the same investment. For example a Short Put with a strike of $33 that expires on 8/19/2022 will show under one position.
A Trade is a group of positions combined together to make a strategy. For example a Covered call trade will be a Stock and a Short Put
The goal after importing is to tag your trades to determine if the trade was successful or a failure. To do this we are going to map a strategy group to each trade that is made.
To keep track of the type of trade, where you got the trade, the market condition and other identifies factors. Enter this information into the Trade Plan
Once the trade has closed, enter the reason why you excited the trade in the
Trade Plan tab.
