Transactions Grid

Transactions Grid

A transaction grid is a list of all the stock, options and dividends for your trade.

Date  = Date you entered the trade
Action  = Buy or Sell (Sell for short calls)
Type  = Call, Put, or Stock
Qty  = The number of contracts or shares you purchased.
Exp Date : Each expiration date will be on Friday. For example, for next month’s expiration, it would be 10/16/2015. For weeklies, it is the same thing.
Strike  = Strike of the contract you bought or sold.
Price : Price you received or bought the contract or stock for.
Commission : The amount you paid the broker for the stock or option.
Group  (optional): You have the ability to group trades into different groups to keep track of them. The defaults are Open Trade, Close Trade, Adjustment, and expiration.

Click on save changes and then your transactions will be listed on the positions. Once you close out or add more transactions to your trade the positions will automatically populate.
Note on the picture below that I sold 50 shares at a later point in time and the top positions will reflect that.
